We spend most of our summer days at the pool. It's a great way to deal with the Texas heat and both kids love it.
Emmy LOVES the water. She has become a great swimmer and would swim all day every day if we let her. I'm impressed with how well she can swim. Swim team might be in her future : ). We have been spending a lot of time at our pool and she is always eager to do whatever the big kids are doing.
We do try to get out of the pool some. We tried bowling a few days ago. Maddox loved it, but Emmy wasn't too interested because she wasn't winning.
So far our summer is going great! Emmy and Maddox are even getting along really well. They have started to really play together much better and depend on each other for entertainment and company throughout the day. It is such a blessing to witness.
