My baby girl is 2 1/2!!

Emmy you are 2 1/2 years old!
It is amazing to watch you as you are growing in to such a sweet and special little girl.

You are wearing 3t tops and 4t bottoms.
We are working on potty training,
so I am hoping we won't be needing diapers for much longer!

You have become a little chatter box! You are talking constantly, and it is getting easier to understand what you are saying. We were told by an Audiologist that your pacifier needs to come out for you to learn the correct mouth movements for the words. We are planning to put your last two in a build a bear on Sunday!! You are going to miss them! You make sure to always have them both with you and especially if something is scary or uncomfortable.
If you are upset, you will say," Mama, my paci helps!"

You are still a great eater. If we are home all day, you will eat at least 8 different times.
Your favorite food right now is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You want one immediately when you wake up every morning.

You are going to sleep around 7:30 every night and wake up around 5:30-6:00. You are not a morning person. It takes you about an hour to wake up in the morning and after nap. You get this from your Daddy : )

Things you love to do:

You love to play with your dolls.
You will get ALL of your babies/stuffed animals and ALL of your blankets out and put them night-night. You will pat their backs and sing "Rock-a-bye baby" Sometimes, you will set them up awake and make a baby school (mommy taught you this one).

You love to do different types of puzzles.
You are so good at putting them together.
You like for Mommy or Daddy to help you with the tricky ones.

You LOVE to sing and dance.

We have two different cd's of traditional children's songs that are your favorite. Maddox dances with you by holding on to the the TV stand. You dance and run back and forth to Maddox as the song plays.

You love to be outside.
Papaw takes you to the park often, and he gets major brownie points for that!

You love your little brother.

You have become a great helper, and you are always looking out for your little brother.
If Maddox is upset, you will say, "It's ok Maddox. Emmy's not crying. I'm right here."

Funny and sweet things you say:

If you are coloring or doing something with your toys you will say, "Emmy hard work."

You will tell us, "I miss you today mama (or daddy)

We like to do family hugs, and you will say, "My family. I love my momma, my daddy, and my Maddox"

You love to talk about how you are the big sister and want to hold Maddox on you lap. He has trouble sitting still, but you love to try!

You will walk around the house and say,"What will Emmy do, Mama?"

There are many more that I need to be writing down!

I love being your Mommy and don't think I could ever give you enough hugs and kisses!
