22 months

You are 22 months old! I can't believe I will have a 2 year old in 2 months!

You are so much fun to be around! Such a big personality! You do cling to me when first meeting someone, but after a few minutes you are showing everything you've got!

You are still a great big sister. You wave to him with your hand on your mouth, because it makes him smile. You love to give him kisses, hugs, and point to all the parts of his face. Mommy still has to keep a close eye on you to make sure you don't try to pick him up or "help" him play with one of your toys.

Your favorite thing to do is play outside. Your Meme and Papaw take you to the park and you "talk" about it for many days after.  You love to play with your groceries, pots, and measuring cups. You cook all kids of stuff! I have shown you a few games on my computer, so now you run to the computer anytime I get it out. You love looking at books and having us read them to you. We still have trouble getting you to play on your own very long. You want to be with us and doing what we are doing. You are a great helper!

You are talking MUCH more now. You say lots of 2 word phrases and single words. You will just randomly say something out of nowhere! It is fun to listen to you say new words! Your pacifier is still always in your mouth. You may talk more clear if it wasn't, but mommy will let you hang on for a little while longer ; )

You are becoming a picky and demanding little eater. You want to eat immediately after waking up in the morning, from nap, and when we get home from school. It is a HUGE ordeal if this does not work out like you want. We joke that your fondest memory will be of eating! We are trying to feed you mostly organic food and only specific meat. This is a work in progress. Your favorite meal is rice and black beans. It is everywhere when you are done, but it is YUMMY!

You are sleeping great! You go to bed around 7 and wake up around 5:30, without waking at all during the night. You are so fun to put to bed. We sing to you and you sing right back. You will even wave to us to let us know you are ready for us to leave the room. When you wake up, you are ready to go with an abundance of energy (after you eat, of course)! Around 12:30. You take a 2 hour nap away from home and around a 1 hour nap at home.

You add so much joy to our lives! We can never get enough kisses and hugs. We have fun chasing you around the house to get extra!
