Saturday- We checked in at 1:00 and headed straight to the water. Emmy and Maddox started out in the kid's pool playing, splashing, and sliding. After an hour, Emmy and Papaw decided to venture out. They went to the wave pool, lazy river, and a big kid orange slide. Emmy loved it all and was not the least bit scared. I may have been a tiny bit nervous.... : )
Early evening, We headed back to the room to open presents and eat cupcakes. The actual kids and the big kids (Papaw and Kyle) had too much fun pillow fighting in the room while we all got ready to eat.
We normally go to Rain Forest Cafe, but the food is never too good so we decided to go to Uncle Julio's instead. It was DELICIOUS!
We headed back to Great Wolfe's story time, and Emmy loved it! They have animals that sing, and a person that reads a book to them. Afterwards, you get to take a picture with one of the characters. At this point, it was late and we crashed!
Sunday-
We were ready for the water park right at 9am when it opened. Emmy decided she was too big for the kiddie pool, so Brandon took her to the big orange slide and wave pool. They had a blast! I wish I would have gotten some pictures, but it was too hard to stay dry. Maddox liked to get in the wave pool and stay close to the edge where the waves were much smaller. We watched daddy and Emmy float on the big waves. When Mimi and Papaw came back to the water, Emmy and Papaw were off to the even bigger slides! She is tall enough to ride them, but it still made me nervous! She did great not getting scared at all!
We headed back home Sunday afternoon.
What a fabulous 4th birthday!!
